Lighter on 2007 SLK

Hi guys

Does anyone know where the cig lighter is on a 2007 SLK350?

Depends I guess on if it was specified on the order, be default new ones have a 12V power socket (or at least the E's do)

That is what it would have thought. A friend has leant me his 2007 SLk350 10 Year Edition for few days but cant find the socket to charge my phone. Cant believe it has not got one. Manual is not in car either

If there is no ashtray then maybe no lighter

There is a ashtray but no lighter in it. A silly thing but it is driving me nuts now !

I thought that they were in the ashtray on all cars of late

It is an import, so I wonder if it has been missed of the UK spec. Oh well, not to worry. Thanks for help

I have a power socket in my W211 in front of the gear lever where the ashtray would have been.

Our 2004 SLK 350 has a 12v socket in the passenger's footwell. on the side of the centre column.

It has a 12v plug in the pasenger footwell that I suppose you could put a cigarette lighter into!!!
My monster Ipod adapter type thingy lives in it though!

It was a option called a smokers pack. Most of them dont have it, just th 12v socet.
