lights flashing and door not locking properly

hi guys just a quick question i recently sprayed wd40 into the handle of my mrs car nearside,as the door lock wouldnt close and would jump up and down ( i thought this would help) ive now got two problems one is i still have the same problem with the door not locking until you try it a couple of times,and now her headlights keep flashing when the car is closed and locked,have i sprayed on to some senser in the door, any help would be appreciated.

Well the bouncing button mean that you need a new door locking motor.

What has happened with the headlights flashing is too hard to say unless you have contaminated the senor in the handle with the WD40

thanks mate i will take the door panel off tommorow and give it a clean,just another quick question please television is the door locking motor the same in a vito van as my car.

I cant answer that one, a spring breaks in the locking motor
