Lights warning message

I keep getting a warning light message coming up on my CLK W208 '02 plate when I put my lights on. I have checked all interior and exterior lights and they are all working well, anybody had a similar problem ?

Not had a great experience with MB dealerships and trying to avoid them if I can.

Hello and welcome, have you checked the number plate lights and the brake lamps

After doing as Malcolm says - if they're all on ok - then it will be a load problem.
Either it has the wrong wattage bulb in (has a bulb been replaced recently?) or if not, it will be a poor contact or possibly minor corrosion around the bulb holder.

I've had this twice. The first time was on the front fogs, on checking they were always on, but the warning light came on anyway. I happened to switch them on one morning when I could see the car in a window and noticed that one fog came on half a second after the other. Long enough to trip the warning but too quick for me to throw the switch and walk round to see.

The second was on the brake lights. again they did come on but so did the warning. I found after cleaning and retentioning the contacts on one side, it was now twice as bright as the other. Amazing how the deteriorate without you realising. Sorted the other, the warning light stayed off and nobody rear ended me ;-).
