Had the W212 go into limp mode a couple of times recently with no warning lights/messages. Restarted just fine.
Scanned using CarlyMB with the code P14B700 which suggests a stuck EGR valve.
Are these easy to remove and clean or better to replace? Is there anything else to be done alongside this?

Hey,

It's often possible to clean the EGR valve, depending on your circumstances and cost of the part it may be easier to just replace it but that's up to you.

Sorry i can't be much help.

Thanks, I replaced it with an aftermarket - Lucas brand which did not work as expected so currently have the original MB EGR back in place. I didn't clean it as it was not as bad as I expected and I bought the new one. In hindsight I should have cleaned it whilst it was off! Car is going into MB specialist tmrw to be sorted hopefully.
