Live traffic issues

I have a 2016 c350e with a live traffic subscription, all working fine till the other day, when it says waiting subscription and does not pick up any traffic on road when iv set a destination, the subscription is valid till May 2024 , then it will say awaiting data, has anyone else's got this issue, iv looked at the settings all looks as they should do .

This recently happened to me and I had to contact MercedesMe. They suggested I needed to go for a drive to guarantee good reception. This worked but I suspect that they were doing something in the background

if a cell tower goes out and reception is weak - it must play up ?

Iv contact mercedes me , I'm still waiting for them to get back to me , did yours get sorted .

Sorry for the late reply. Yes they did sort it. It took nearly a week.

IIRC they were a bit non-committal about it. I think they are just pleased to "close the ticket" as they say in IT parlance.

I’d say a power down reset and then applying a software update that they should have done at every service between 2017 and now (but never done…)

They said it was a communication module issue and they have reset it, so iv got to drive it so it can synchronize in the background and test the service?
