Live traffic update

I have just bought a years live traffic for the command system through Mercedesme. I assume this will download to the car. Does anyone know how long this should take?

It should automatically activate but they do advise 24hr

As above but it does depend on the mobile signal strength where your car is parked so you may need a short drive for it to update if it is garaged or you are in a poor signal area.

It became active late Sunday night and I am in a very patchy reception area.

I thought it was instant and linked to all the TomTom Satnav systems so should be instant.

mine was with the car from new and I have renewed subscription for this year.

it’s possible I’m missing something here though?

Ditto - ASFAIK nothing to upload - just an activation of the system again.

I think OP had just bought a new subscription and was asking how long it would take to activate in his car.
