HI, anyone recommend a body shop near bournemouth to cure my rust,as MB in poole does not want to know, no MB service record,and out of date, tried MB official body shop in salisbury,same mantra.

The only thing i can say about this post.. If you do come across a bodyshop who will do your rust, then ask lots of questions, and dont be fobbed off with oh we know what we're doing..
The rust has to wire brushed and sandblasted, so ask about the preparation methods, then the bare metal area treated with acid etch primer, then the pit marks filled with either a two pack epoxy filler or better still glassfibre resin..the resin on its own without the fibres added, this is the best product currently on the market for filling and sealing rust holes and pit marks.. its completely waterproof and sticks like the proverbial to a blanket.. ..then the normal filling and priming and painting also the panels have to be totally dried out inside and out before waxoyling, and the waxoyl should be applied warm to a warm panel..if applied cold to a panel it can trap moisture.. if applied to a cold panel it can trap moisture.. so use those guide lines and ask as if you are interested in what they do and not as if you are telling them how it should be done.. but being garage men they will only tell you what u wanna hear..

The only one i would have recommend is at Cadnam, triangle sprays!!

First class job but not the cheapest, used to do all the dealers work around the south!!
