You might need the special hook/handle tools from MB to get the panel out without damaging it. Cost about a tenner, and come with no insrtuctions. I believe they locate into the i/p somewhere and bring it out a bit like a radio/cassette unit. I tried to ease mine out, but gave up because I wasn't getting anywhere, pushed the i/p back in and the faulty light came back on. Such is life.
