My 2001 Vito 112 CDI goes through the central locking routine when the vehicle reaches 10 mph or so, then over the last 2 years or so, annoyingly repeats this routine randomly throughout the journey! Help?

if you search the forum you may come across this to other types of car, but i am not sure.

If you go over a bump fast enough, my car will release the locks. it thinks you have had a crash. it maybe that is occuring with yours, perhaps whatever sensor that creates this effect is lose?

could also be a lose connection in the door lock switch!

if you change these bits, see if that miraculously cures it.

Check the pin switches and keep an eye on the interior light. My last E used to do it from time to time, especially going round roundabouts. A new pin switch cured it.
