My father managed to lock himself out of his S class last night with the engine on.
He had just loaded a couple of curtain poles, when doing so he hit the hazards and then left them pushing against the ash tray. He closed the door only for the doors to lock themselves!!!
The RAC were there in under 10 mins, the nice man managed to get in (levered open the top of the door with some stuff he had and then got a metal rod in that he used to hit the window switch). Phew!
We then closed the door again (with window open) and it locked itself again. Moved the pole away from the ash tray and it stopped locking itself!
Anyway - all sorted and fixed! Strange situation though.
