Are wheel locking nuts standard in modern Mercedes?

My 2019 Mercedes B Class doesn't seem to have one, I'm not sure if it doesn't need one or if it's not been supplied.

If you don’t have locking wheel bolts count yourself lucky. They cause many issues for the owner.
Have a good look at the bolts one of the heads will look different with a strange shaped cutout on the top of you have Mercedes locking wheel bolts. If you have them and no key adaptor (usually in a small black case with 4 normal wheel bolts in) in the boot, the as per above go to MB with the logbook and ID

when MB fit a set of lock bolts to a car, they just pick a box from the shelf & fit them, they don't take note or log the pattern code. I thought the key had been lost from my car & enquired at MB to see if they knew .... they don't. Citroen however told me the code when I went to order a replacement for EmilysMum's car.
Any tyre & exhaust place will have a set of wheel nut removers > something like these < rather than taking the car to the dealers

I broke the original locking bolt key on my Merc. The main M-B dealer had a big box with from memory at least 26 slightly various designs of key pattern. He removed my locking bolts with his appropriate key. I did however fit a new set having had alloy wheels stolen in past (Peugeot 205 GTI from spare wheel wire rack underneath car). M-B say do not use grease or Coppaslip on wheel bolts! I always use it sparingly, but make sure it is on thread NOT on the mating cone/surface. The rate I go through tyres and changing to winters tyres back to summers, the wheels are taken off car regularly. I believe the cause of my initial problem was aggressive wheel cleaner being used when car was 'valetted' fairly regularly on dealers forecourt. Was not a M-B dealer.

I have always, heretofore, used Coppaslip, but my SL was with Prestige Car Service recently :) and when I collected it Oliver suggested, very politely that I should desist. The advice was to clean the wheel nuts & bolts whenever a wheel was dismounted.

The recommended torque is designed for a clean bolt. Do not use copaslip or equivalent

maybe in a perfect world, but I've always used a wipe of Copper slip on wheel bolts, I've seen it when bolts/nuts have needed a scaffold pole to release seized on bolts/nuts .... likewise the back of the wheel against the drum/disc. ;)

My wifes 66 plate Mini does not have locking wheel nuts as standard.
Its not alloy wheels that are stolen anymore, its for the tyres on them !!!!

its interesting, but i have been using a smear of copper grease on by wheel bolts for decades, never had an issue, also on back of wheels and behind discs etc.
I have bought cars that i have had to remove alloy wheels with a rubber mallet due to the corrosion, never had the issue again once a smear is put on the face of disc/drum.
I can understand that people over do it.
