Dealer with logbook and IDAre wheel locking nuts standard in modern Mercedes?
My 2019 Mercedes B Class doesn't seem to have one, I'm not sure if it doesn't need one or if it's not been supplied.
Agreed most of them are “alloy”....If you have normal nuts. Keep it that way. Who steals wheels now.
I have always, heretofore, used Coppaslip, but my SL was with Prestige Car Service recentlyM-B say do not use grease or Coppaslip on wheel bolts!
maybe in a perfect world, but I've always used a wipe of Copper slip on wheel bolts, I've seen it when bolts/nuts have needed a scaffold pole to release seized on bolts/nuts .... likewise the back of the wheel against the drum/disc.The recommended torque is designed for a clean bolt. Do not use copaslip or equivalent
See this video, dry against anti seizemaybe in a perfect world, but I've always used a wipe of Copper slip on wheel bolts, I've seen it when bolts/nuts have needed a scaffold pole to release seized on bolts/nuts .... likewise the back of the wheel against the drum/disc.![]()
