Locking, Wipers and Park brake.

First off, apologies, i wasn't too sure wether to post separate posts to each problem.

About a week ago i started the car up first thing. There was dew on the outside front window, so i clicked on the wipers, but nothing happened. only after about a minute did the wiprs start. that now happens everyday. i don't think that's normal.

next i've noticed the doors don't lock when driving again until after a minute or so, when they used to lock within a couple of seconds of moving.

now when i got to work this morning, i put the car in park, and a warning came up saying 'parking brake inoperable'

Sorry for the long post and probs. hope someone has experienced any of these.

What condition is your battery in and is your front SAM full of water?

I've not checked battery condition, not sure how to check condition if honest, excuse my ignorance, but what is SAM

Volt meter on the battery SAM (Signal Acquisition Module) a modern fuse box with relays and the like - it takes the signals from the switches etc and decodes them and sends them to the right unit to make it work. They really don't like getting wet and quite a few do get wet which causes random faults.
