The colour looks much better in real life.

Personally I dont think they sound as nice as the E46 M3 and I think the E46 M3 just looks a bit better as well.

Oh yea, dont expect to see these on the road for about another 3 weeks.

Hello,

The engine may be superb. For looks however it does nothing for me. I'm not just saying that as its a Merc forum, I recently swapped my E46 M-sport 330 convertible so like BM's also.

and how many pennies is one of them 55K ??

Hello

The white line will be so the muppets at the stealers dont bash the door.

I liked my old BM think it had nicer lines, but that v8 engine WILL sound awesome.

They would need smoked/dark glass to complete the image though, should help plod to identify who to stop & search:rolleyes:

The words Drug Dealer and Pimp seem to float readily to mind, as with all BMWs.

There must be a few of us that quite like BMW's on here, there I've said it!

Just sold a 2005 E46 M3 after two years and 26k faultless miles, nothing fell off or broke in this time unlike some of the more recent Mercedes I have experienced.

Reasons for selling:

1. It acted as a magnet for every teenage moron in a corsa or similar with a drainpipe for an exhaust.
2. Fed up of people telling me I needed satnav and 19" wheels on the car, tried to explain I bought it to drive and not for pose value.
3. BMW Dealers are actually worse than Mercedes Dealers!!
4. Just didn't have the special feeling you get with some cars.
5. Seemed a bit silly having all that money tied up in a car when I get more enjoyment from driving my 560 and SL, and come to mention it my new 02 311cdi Sprinter!

Confession over.

When Im 25 Im going to get a E46 M3 (4 1/2 years from now). By then I will be able to afford to insure one at a good price (not the £3,000 a year that I have been quoted right now ;) )

I think its funny watching boy racers with novas etc pulling up near M3's at lights and thinking that they can win. Theres just no point in them even attempting to race an M3 as they just end up looking like complete dicks...
