I'm not an authority on the subject but i tested some LPG/dual fuel cars when i was a fleet manager, so in my limited experience. LPG is fine for engines ie wont cause any damage but you do lose a little in performace and dont get as many miles to a tank as you would petrol.
But its a lot cheaper.
The coversions may be a bit better than they were as this was about 8 years ago.
Its only really worth it if you are going to do significant miles per year as well
Well we've had some horror stories about LPG conversions, esp on the bigger engines. I personally wouldnt do it. Andy of Andy Gayle in birmingham also doesnt recommend.
