Looking for help. Having a crank/start issue with a Chrysler Crossfire - SLK all in but name. I replaced Crank sensor, then that went faulty, so fitted another unit. Car started and ran OK, but then if revved to above 2000rpm engine sounds like a big misfire and then cuts out. I tried replace ECU and Power relay module but it won't start at all, it appears the ECU is not seeing the key.
How do I programme ECU to key ????
Desperate help needed.

You can't just swap an ECU. They are coded to various other modules of the car as an anti theft measure. It needs specialist kit to recode everything to work.

As mentioned depending on age many items require use specialist kit and/or direct link to MB (especially when coding new keys to the car). I guess that this may apply to the Chrysler Crossfire as well if it is using all MB parts.

In the meantime.
Did you get any codes read?
What led you to suspect the crank sensor rather than anything else?
What year is the car?
What engine does it have?
Where are you based, we may be able to recommend an independent garage that has the MB specific kit to help you out.
