i am new to the MB world and have been looking round the website for tech info and buying info on a W202
the car in question is a P reg C180 elegance, it has done 58,000 and full MB history and looks pretty straight, although it has a couple of stone chips that look a bit rusty and a bit of bubbling rust round the boot lock.
I am going to take the car out for a drive tomorrow, what should i be looking/listening for?
Is the 1.8 any good or would there be a better engine to go for? The plan is to use the car for long distance driving so i need something that is reliable, comfortable and enjoyable to drive, my budget is 4K so i want to get as much for my money as possible
