loose Electrical connector

Can someone please help with identifying this connector on 1999 SL500. Its located on offside front wheelarch coming out of wiring loom by the radiator header tank near winscreen washer container. When you press the silver metal arm (shown in centre) it toches a small white plasic "nipple" it clicks as if its a switch.
The markings are difficult to read but look like 20282062 10 and 2042.3803

Could be a microswitch for the alarm system which has fallen out from the OS bonnet catch, a bit difficult to see from that picture!

Thanks for your suggestion, will try it out in the morning with the alarm set. Sorry about the photo - still trying to master last years xmas prezzie !!

if you camera has a 'flower' or Macro setting press it then try again. Unless you have gone for the vaseline on the lens artistic shot on purpose

Yes, looks as if its a perfect fit for the offside bonnet relase mechanism. However, suspect its been disconnected as no response when setting alarm and releasing the switch. Another warranty issue!
