I noticed some movement in my rear passenger side wheel arch when cleaning my car. Upon inspection, the bottom rivet that connects my wheel arch cover to the wheel arch is loose.
Not majorly loose. But it seems to have dropped slightly from its original location.
Can rivets be tightened? Or is it possible it’s torn a longer hole in the fabric arch cover, causing the movement. Is there anything I can do without removing the rivet? IMG_0372.jpeg

I’ve got a video but don’t know if I can post it. Basically u can push the wheel arch in and out, and the rivet moves with it. But there’s no movement on the other side. Could I fix this at home?

Pull the centre plastic plug out and then prise the outer part free as well .
Then refit in reverse order and it will probably seat itself correctly again . They are cheap on eBay

Reused all the time unless damaged . Use a flat screwdriver to lever the middle out then pull with your fingers .
Or needle nose pliers instead .

Buy on eBay - you can get hundreds of these type of fittings for a tenner. Don't fall for the "that'll be £5 for one sir" at the MB dealer.
