Loss of power

Hi owned a w212 e class for three years now always been serviced by merc this time I did it my self I’m a painter by trade and always work on cars so an oil and filter change was easy I got the parts from euro big mistake the air filter looked the same but it don’t seal around the maf sensor properly I went with it and a day later no power eml showing maf sensors fault so went to merc got a new filter however I couldn’t clear the code I now have a soot filter dpf fault as well
Seems to be boosting ok but won’t Rev past 2500 and pull off is dangerously slow 0-60 must be around 15 minutes at present I’ve swapped the maf sensor for an eBay special still the same and can’t clear the code. Any help appreciated

Car cuts out when running if the sensor is unplugged

What makes you think its the MAF...If unplugging the faulty MAF causes a change how can it be the MAF.

I would be tempted to put the old one back, after a spray and thorough dry with with contact cleaner. Put a new filter in. And get the codes cleared. If they come back then back to the garage.

As for ECP, I just dont understand why people save a few quid here and there in a thousands piund car only to pay twice.

Mercs are big fans of genuine parts for alot of components

If merc is closed. Phone the parts dept and pay over the phone and get the parts posted.

Pay once pay right.

I have plugged it in it’s saying maf fault I tried to call Mercedes Friday but bank holiday closed I’ll send it in to them when they open
