Hi, i need help.

I very recently bought a v reg mercedes c250td auto
The vehicle is fine and pulls away normally, but since driving on the motorway, there is a considerable loss of power, with no kick after having travelled around 50miles or so.
Once i reach over 80mph is seems limited.
If I turn the ingnition off/on the problem seems to fix itself until another 50 miles or so.

Any thoughts?

Well i guess the fault is electricial, if you turn off and its fine then it must be,

A short test is the next cheapest move,

Could be anything!!

boost problem is my guess, although it is IFI and not cdi they will still go emergency program when low boost.

probably turbo modulator valve or pressure loss at hose or inter cooler. have you any obvious oily bits and bobs under the bonnet ms/mr mysterious? like that corrugated hose maybe?
