lost alarm/immobiliser/keys, PLEASE help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lost the alarm remote for my 96 e-class w210, it is the one with the flick knife key built in.

Please tell me what I can do and how much it will cost

You will have to go to the dealers with your log book drivers licence and what ever ID you got and order one off them.Should take a few days at most. Cost Well, For my C Class it set me back About £50 if I remember right.

Was it £50 for the alarm fob and the key? Did it come pre-programmed or did they program it using the car. Its just that my car is stuck in the garage and It is locked, I can't take it to the dealership

+ Will they do it without the logbook because I had to send mine off for change of address

It was about £56 all in,I had a look at the reciept.The fob and key come together,Key is pre cut at the factory.So when you get it from the dealers you can unlock your car via the key.But YOU will have to program the new fob to work on your car.The dealer will tell you how.The one thing that will slow you down is they will insist on your log book.If only to prove your the owner.You might get them to order it (need chassis number)if you pay them in advance,then collect when you have a log book to show them.
