Loud Bleep on command centre

Hi all, new hear so not sure if this has come up before.

While driving home tonight my command centre started to give a loud bleep every one minute. The car is an e class e320 cdi, 54 plate.

Any body any idea as to why, it keeps cutting phone off and sound system.

cheers, got to say frightened me to death, listening to pink at a good volume and high pitch bleep, about a secong and every 60 seconds. Checked loads of stuff cant find owt, thanks agian

Mine gives out a beep when I receive a text message but it's neither loud nor persistant

Do comand units have Traffic announcement functions? Just curious because most radios give out a loud beep if this function is selected but they can't get a signal.

Yes TMC can be activated, good point sir, just looked and it says an acoustic signal will be sound and the traffic announcement will be displayed

none of the above guys, i've had the car more or less 2 years and have nothing like this before. it was a secong bleep every 60 secs.

Strange thing is what ever it was last night, it aint happened today! strange...
