Loud squeak!

Recently, i've noticed that when i start my 94 C280 from cold and i depress the brake to change gear into drive, i hear this loud squeak. This only happens when the car is cold. Once it's been running and the car's warmed up,i don't hear that sound.

Has anyone got a clue as to what this could be? That squeak is driving me round the bend!

When the car is cold the mouse that lives under the brake pedal is a bit sluggish, its a bit quicker at moving out of the way once it's warmed up!

I would say its the brakes, could be the discs are a little glazed and the pads ready for replacment.
