I thought I'd share a budget fix I tried on my '74 280C. The ignition box had gone south and after trying several salvage yards with no luck I figured I'd have to buy a new one. The lowest price I found was $275. I started looking into universial boxes. I came with a MSD Blaster unit for $99 at Pepboy's. I inhanced this with a Blaster II coil and ballest resistor for a grand total of $150 . Installation was straight forward and the car runs great.
