replacing the springs on CE in order to lower it. prob with Eibachs

expensive job ? Through a Merc specialist. I'd like to lower it but if its silly money I'm not that fussed.

eurocarparts do lowering springs,but it will alter the camber of your wheels and cause tyres to wear on the inside.

I lowered my 300CE with the Eibach Pro spring kit. A big improvement to the handling and no adverse effect on the ride. The suspension geometry on mine was checked before and after and it was still within tolerances. Its about a 2 hour job to change the springs but watch out for seized ball joints!
