Hi Folks,
Anyone had problem with rubber trim surrounding wiper arm base coming away from center to outer extremes of bottom of windscreen?
Have tried re-locating barbed rubber back into corresponding channels but rubber has weakened to the degree of coming away again once car is on the move.
Have toyed with the idea of silicone sealing it down, but am reluctant to do this as it will have to be removed again should the windscreen need to be replaced.
Looks as though some little herbert has been sitting on bonnet & used rubber as support with hands when leaning back on windscreen (have seen teenager degenerates do this at Polo matches).
Can the rubber strip be replaced without removing single windscreen wiper base & is it a costly item from the MB dealer?
As always appreciate any input.
Regards,
Keith.
