I parted with an old vehicle on Saturday, but before doing so drained about £30 of LRP out of the fuel tank.

Seems a shame not to be able to use, but can I put it in my '89 300CE?

If not it's going in my motorbike!

cheers,

Nik

What does it say on the filler cap on your Coupe? I think you may have a CAT on your CE, in which case its not advisable to use LRP.

Best bet...stick it in the bike. :)

LRP

Cheers Spike,

Must admit, not thought to look in the filler cap, can't recall it saying unleaded there, but I'll look later.

Had a look under the car, and saw some dustbin sized silencers, but none that looked like cats...but I'm not going to risk it for the sake of half a tank of petrol!

Ta.

As said the fule filler flap will tell you. Also if you can fit a LRP nozzle in there, you can use it!

Cat cars will have the narrow neck filler.

Let us all know how you get on.
