Evening folks, new to the forum and hoping you can help.

My 2005 CLS55 has developed a bit of a weird issue where I can be driving for around 20 mins from cold, car has warmed up, smooth as can be from start-up, then all of a sudden, it just starts missing. I’ll roll up to a set of lights or a safe place, mega lumpy at idle as if its not far from cutting out, I turn it off, turn it back on and it’s back to being fine again. No lights pop up, no codes to be read. Initial guess would be a dodgy coil, but strange it doesn’t show up and that it goes away just as quick. It doesn’t happen every time, but needless to say when trying to replicate it, it won’t

Anyone had a similar issue?

Cheers
Neil

Water condensation in the fuel rail is common, as are worn fuel injectors or possibly high resistance across an HT lead. You can pinpoint the cylinders by carrying out a smooth running test using Xentry.
