I have been quoted 2200 GBP to install a retrofit MB Comand to my ML270CDI, is this the going rate for a retro fit?

Should I consider an alternative multimedia package or will the Comand help to keep the resalable value come part exchange time?

Is the navigation package included which I believe is Tele Atlas worth the spend?

Advice much appreciated.

I have the Comand system in the CLK and it is good, but for £2200 I wouldn't say it is worth it as you won't get this back at trade-in time, especuially as a factory fit option is around £1400.

The CD mapping software is provided by Tele Atlas.

There are probably better after market units at half the price worth investigating. These may laso fully support TMC (dyanmic re-routing function), which Mercedes UK do not support.
