m.o.t failure??????

hi all,as my m.o.t is due soon can someone tell me if this is a m.o.t failure
on my seat belt(the male part) it has a crack in it ,but when its put into the female part(the seat anchor part it still functions as it should)
i no i need to replace it but don't no where to start ,could someone guide me in the right direction please

If it is the METAL part that is cracked it will and should fail the test. If it is the plastic casing for the male part, it shouldnt fail as this is only trim.

The part that is cracked is not listed separately, though it might be possible to buy on its own.

The answer will lie with if the end on the belt will pass through the male part. by removing bolt 11 and trying it ,then you will know,, one from the passenger seat from a break should do .

Can youlet us know if it is the metal part or just the plastic trim, be a bit unusual if it it is the metal part.

think i will try televisions idea as it gets on my nerves everytime i belt up
