I have just had the air conditioning suction pipe replaced on my r129. The tubing heads under the front on the engine. A design fault of these engines means that the corner of the engine bay rubs on this rubber tubing and I assume in time it will split.

Anyone know of anything I can cover the tubing with in order to protect it from rubbing and the heat???

Dont really want to disconnect the pipe to fit something over it but let me know what your thoughts are.

many thanks

Not heard of that being an issue.
I'll take a look at my 129 in the morning.
If you want to fit something find a suitable diameter plastic hose, slit it end ways down one side and slip into place. Secure with cable ties.
