Hello every all !!
I'm new about this forum, I write to have any suggest about a 722.4 automatic transmission rebuild.
Before rebuilt we have slipping in 4 clutch and problem with reverse. I completely rebuilt transmission and I found broken plate of rear clutch and a sealing of the main shaft broken, I replaced all the frictions, seal, gaskets and bands.
Now I have no second- third- fourth clutch. Only first and reverse. My colleague changed all the tubes for depressure , maybe some tube are in the incorrect position? Can the vacuum valve bring no shift? Or the accelerator control ? Thank you in advance !!

s0nja83 Divertente questa è stata una domanda posta su un altro forum, la mia risposta a lui è stata controllare il tuo interruttore kick down. Si trova sotto il pedale.
THANK YOU for your replay. The kick down is on the transmission in this case and all seems to be work. Tomorrow I will check. In the meanwhile I re opened the transmission and all was good without problem....

So, I have some news about the Car. I reassembly the transmission, checked with the air all clutches and the bands and all was good. Put the trans on the car and found the switch under pedal. I checked the contacts of the switch and physically work properly. I tried to use the car without this switch and the car remain again only in First. I tried to disconnect the solenoid of kick down (on the rear of transmission) and no change again. I checked the electric current on this switch and solenoid and they are normally alimented and close contact with negative. I really can't found a way out....

I'm going to think about again .... May the transmission have this problem by the incorrect oil? I use Dextron PC synt Pakelo (ATf4+) , with MB specifics 236.10/236.11
