Has to be a failure of the tipper mechanism?

Probably raised without the driver's knowledge, and then caught on the bridge. I wouldn't have liked to have been in that truck, can you imagine doing 50-0 in the space of a couple of meters :/

Saw a film of a test a bit like that at Mira, they left the arm of an excavator up then drove it on a low loader under a bridge to test the bridge.
Coincidentally a tipper lost it's load of rubble in Carmarthen this morning, thankfully no one behind at the time just that the tailgate opened and x tonne of rubble on the road. At least the driver stopped, I think in the SE they do that then keep on driving.:evil:
