Am settling into the ML I bought a few weeks ago, she's been converted to gas and is running brilliantly apart from a few minor problems (well at least I hope they are!)

One is that when i turn on the ignition, the speedo needle vibates for a few seconds with a slight buzzing noise. Then the dials all wake up and it stops. No other problems with the speedo other than that.

Any ideas guys?

Will post other queries in relevant sections :)

I do not think its a fault if its all fine when its running.

Some of the Leak stereo 30 amps from the 70,s could make a loud plop when you turned them off,we used to tell the customers that we only guaranteed them when they were on

Hi, I know this is an old post but could you tell me did you ever get a 'fix' for your buzzing speedo ? The reason I ask is that mine has started doing the same thing. As it happens mine is also a '99 ML430 with an L.P.G. conversion though I doubt that this should affect the speedo.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance Dave.
