Faulty MAF sensor issue. As you all know the whole unit needs replacing on this particular rear for some bizarre reason which is £600.

I managed to find a Chinese copy online and it’s trash the sensors are rubbish, good news is the batwing housing looks spot on an identical copy of the original and the sensors just pop out they are glued in lightly so it looks like I should be able to glue in some OEM MAF sensors and then fit the unit and hopefully the issue will be fixed.

Does anyone know the part number for the MAF sensors please? I don’t want to risk butchering the original unit trying to get out the sensors for the part number as the car still runs okay. 34FF2732-D74C-430D-A987-8E5C28F403E8.jpeg

There is no part number for the originals thats why they don't come separately.

Maintaining an S class requires the owners to have a wallet of person who purchased it new.

Would it not be more economically effecient to get a used unit from ebay or off a breaker.

I had to buy a second hand unit in the end.
