Magnetic GB sticker

I put a flexible magnetic GB sticker ( the bendy plastic magnetic as opposed to the ridgid metallic one ) that I got on the Stena ferry on my bootlid and left it for a few months. Now I've removed it there is a dull haze where it was and no amount of washing and waxing will change it.

Is it possible it removed my clear coat finish?

any suggestions on possible remedies?

autoglym super resin polish!!!! go grt it from Halfords!

I second that. The super resin polish also contains some cleaner and will remove embedded dirty surrounding the patch. After that apply some AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection.

One thing is sure your car will look great after that amount of treatment.

I third that , my car got the super resin polish and the high gloss coating too , looks great now
