main agent service charges

I have been quoted £215 for an "A" service on my 2004 180K Auto estate by Mercedes London.

The Agent's hourly charge is £96 per hour.

Comparable charges around the country?

i dont think that is bad to be honest. email other dealers and see what they will offer.

For comparison. The following maindealer services i have been quoted.
1st service on Subaru WRX. £175 IN 2004.
1st Service on Seat LEON 20VT in 2001. £285.....Then Lex Autos got the work for £75
1st Service SLK 200 2003. MB Local. £275. MB 28miles away. £151. Merc Care local indys £120. Went for MB 28m as maindealer stamp was worth £31.

Well i got the bill....it was 150plus vat quid labour and about 20 quid for parts...ie filter. I supplied my own Mobil 1 at 30 quid.
Total cost 212 for e service. took 2 Hours so 75 plus vat labour

Just been quoted £290 for an A service on a C200K by Tony Purslow of Hindhead!!! That seems really excessive.

Am waiting for email replies by other dealers....
