lots of stuff

You should be looking at transmission fluid/oil, differential oil/ brake fluid renewal/ engine oil/plugs/air and oil filters/ general brakes and
suspension look-see and check wheel bearings for wear/clutch/auto box. The list could be endless.
The easiest way is contact your local MB garage, and ask them exactly what is on the menu for your model at that mileage. They should be able to supply you with a new service book, and possibly fill you in on what services the car has already had through MB. They'll need the Chassis no for that.

Good luck

It all depends on how thoroughly it was looked after by the previous owner. Whenever i get a car without a verfiable history, I give it to a mechanic/specialist who knows the marque and ask them to go through it with a fine tooth comb.

I feel its money well spent as anything that needs doing is picked up and potential problems are identified whilst there's still time to do something about it (e.. source parts at sensible prices), rather than having to pay top whack when the cars off the road. I can also the prioritise the work so I'm not forking out a huge wedge in one go.

My C220 has about 70k on it now and I remember having the gearbox oil and filters done around 40k so thats a likely candidate, but if little has been done in the recent past the list may be a lot longer, or else its already been done!?
