Major "After-Market" Mercedes Parts House in Engla

Greetings Mercedes Enthusasts!

I have just purchased a 1980 350SL. The 350SL model was never imported into the US (I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma)...and, therefore, certain engine parts I might need are not available in the US.

A major Mercedes Parts House in the US is Performance Products (see their web site at www.performanceproducts.com). I'm wondering if one of you to give me a web site for a major European mail order house (similar to Performance Products).

why not take out a subcription to the "mercedes enthusiast "magazine at www.mercedesenthusiast.co.uk Its always full of adverts of merc specialists in the UK. Eurocar parts are good source of spare parts www.eurocarparts.com but I dont know if they operate outside the UK. You could join the UK Mercedes-Benz Owners Association of course who run this excellent forum. Dont be shocked at UK prices for MERC parts, you might be better going straight to Germany!! There is an extremely interesting series of posts about German reconditioned merc parts by a Pete Smith in the the Dedicated A-class site www.baby-benz.com.
