Tom, what is this in relation to?

I'm guessing that it is some sort of discharge/charge cycle. I have never heard of anything like this for lead acid batteries before.

"I trust you did the simple cardoman cylce's before installing the battery to ensure safe and efficient cell calibration and to diffuse any flux build up?"

What on earth does this mean? :-(

When a current is passed through a coil, this produces a field, when an Iron core is added to the coil, then a magnetic flux is pruduced as part of that magnetic field, transformers and louspeakers are two item that have their efficientcy measured in terms of flux. With what ever it is they are refering to I do not know. I have only ever used Cardomon in cooking, although it is obviusly it is someones name.

I was going to say, wait for Turnipsock, he knows all about flux, but I see that he posted while I was doing an answer.

I saw the original post - assume it was a sarcastic wind-up of the member who was delighted in his technical ability at fitting a battery.

Yes, I was a little suspicious. Unless the wires are red/black/green I'm a bit of a thicko regarding electrics! Now if it had been a state-of-mind he was describing like concentration for example being the total application of one's mind and body to a particular endeavour to the complete exclusion of everything that is not relevant to that endeavour, then well..................
