C200K, 2003, 1.8. Been in the garage several times, had the alternator and the air mass sensor replaced. Engine light still persistant so they replaced the lambda probe. Light still persistant and they told me the wiring loom betweeen the sensor and the computer was damaged/wet/covered in oil (or something) so the sensor and loom and possible lambda (again) needs replacing.
I bought my own memo scanner thing and it is consistently giving me code 170 - fuel trim malfunction (bank 1). Does this make any sense to anyone out there?
