Hey I am ,back again for some advice if possible,
I have been using my vito 111 cdi have invested in icarsoft MB 2.0
Traction control light comes on,but will sort that later,
The other issue I would like to sort now is EML comes on after about a mile or two,I think after I try it around 3k revs then goes into limp.
I have readings on my phone ,I think I will have to send these shortly

I think they use the manifold air pressure sensor instead.
The MAP sensor can be cleaned with a spray cleaner.

Oh thanks that's very helpfully,
I have just read on this forum I think,
The person was looking at the same thing, but I believe he checked for splits in hoses, but found egr stuck, hope it's warmer tomorrow I will check these also,
I changed back propshaft last night,
Drives lovely now spare from the limp mode, which to be fair is not as bad as some vehicle on limp, cruises at 65 on 2.5k ishjus takes a while to get it

What is the sensor below the map sensor on the large intake pipe?

Is your engine OM646 ?
I may be wrong about the MAF. If there is one present then it will be on a big air intake pipe and it has 4 or 5 wires. Sorry. Again, the MAF sensor can also be cleaned with a spray cleaner.
The other sensor most likely to be a temperature sensor for the air.

Hi again mattkh.
At the moment I do not know engine code,
I will have a better look tomorrow,
But it don't seem like it has a normal looking mad(joins in-between pipe)
Something might have clogged up because not used properly for a long while

That is it, that is where a MAF sits.
You can also check from the number of wires to it, should be 4 or 5.

Right here we,just to give you all an update on my vito 111cdi long I had an EML and traction control limp mode
I have also bought an icarsoft MB 2.0

Narrowed it down MAP sensor,
Today put a new one on
Could not delete the EML ( still learning with reader)
Anyway took it for a short spin, restarted went off,the tried it up a steep hill,on turning EML again, went off after restart, then did not return yet
Tc light, icarsoft, could not find how to get into vito ,but went into sprinter part, said steering reading on 0. And light went off and still off after a few miles,
A couple of times later in the day EML came on.but rarely, maybe bad seal on contact inlet pipe etc?
Yellow triangle flashed once ,
But I was pushing the power (there's a good grunt now)
I will take it easier now
