Good idea. I subscribed for first year, then didn't renew as I did not find every months edition to my liking. Either too much emphasis on classics or cars I cant afford. I want every month to be about used Mercs under £18K!


If Mercedes Enthusiast decline, they are bonkers and kind of proves they are not on my wavelength.

Will the old girl happily carry off the 70-80 mph motorway speeds or would that be pushing things a bit for a more mature car!!??

I'm sure that speed is well withing its capabilities, but why not speak to the Father in law, and just bring it up all nonch like, "what sort of speeds do you usually cruise at??"

If he comes back with, "Absolutely balls out", then the speeds you suggest are ok, but if he intimates that it never goes above 45mph, then maybe a more sedate cruis would be in order.

Either way your gonna be the envy of a lot of people.!!
