Word got around that I can do servicing and repairs, after helping my mates out with their car a few times, and it soon turned into part-time work.
Still mainly just helping friends out, but as I come across some unusual car problems, it's great to be able to ask those with more experiance how they found a solution.
I'll also happily share any solutions I've found to those here that will appreciate it.

@MindMind Welcome, hope the info flows both ways.
If you aim to do lots of MB work it may be worth you getting a STAR/Xentry diagnostic unit. Even the ‘pro’ generic ones cannot interrogate the MB systems to the same level. So you can end up changing what you ‘think’ is the issue, but the real culprit is further downstream....
