Hi folks,
My 2nd post and am already asking for help !

My 2013 e220 w212 developed a noise, and having a quick squint underneath I can see its a heatshield where the holes for the fasteners have rusted through and it had dropped onto the prop.

I've wedged the front edges under the soundproofing ( no idea what the big cover under the car is for so guessing) which is ok as a temporary measure.

Does anyone have a parts catalogue I have have a look at to identify the part and get a part number please ?

I've used a couple of 'penny washers' (aka repair washers) to sandwich the heat shield ..... washers courtesy of work

+1 for large washers, although I used some gasket sealant between the washer and the heatshield to hinder galvanic corrosion (steel and aluminium).
