My last posting after all the help received from many of you was that MB Espana in Madrid said that the vehicle had an air leak. They (MB Espana) told the dealer(alsoMB) to change the turbo and the valve feeding the turbo. They said it was fine.As soon as I took the car to spain from gibraltar and used the kick-down to achieve 130ks the engine shut down again to 2000rpm as in my previous postings. This is the 'safe' or 'limp' mode that gets you home.Naturally they will not be charging for this part-changing exercise, but it is now a 2 month saga and still the car is still the same. The information from MB Madrid also comes as a link from MB germany. Why cannot the car be fixed? Does it need to go to Germany? Any new ideas anybody??
