I am now recreating Data cards to replicate the exact original look of those supplied when the cars were new. Over the past 50+ years many of these cards have been misplaced or lost. This was the fate of the cards for my car.
Contacting MB for a replacement, I received a poor photocopy of the card. Disappointed with this, I set out to reproduce new Data cards to exactly replicate the originals.
Having had numerous enquiries from fellow owners to recreate their cards, and after much research I am now able to recreate Data cards for all Mercedes models from the mid 1950s to the 2000s
For cars built after 1981 95% of the time I can recreate the new cards from a VIN number.
Cars build before 1981 I would need the photocopy card that MB supply
