MB INDEPENDENT of NOTTINGHAM WARNING!!!

Just a Warning about MB- IDEPENDENT NOTTINGHAM, a company that might as well be a back street garage, not class themselves as driving down the cost of owning a Mercedes as they say in there adverts. I have recently sent my C-Class to them for a diagnostic report on a starting fault. It was reported to me that they had carried out a leak off test and that they had found that the injectors needed replacing costing @ £1400, I asked them to return the car. I then replaced the injectors costing £750 only to find that I still had the starting problem, when trying to speak to someone at MB it was like dealing with a back street outfit acting very unprofessionally, (no one in the office), (I’m not dealing with this matter ) ect.And not returning calls or answering emails. As you can imagine I was getting quite worked up by this time. I then posted the symptoms of my starting problem on this web site to get replies stating that the fault was caused by a faulty o-ring costing 50p, this was indeed the problem, it was changed and the car stars first time. Many, many thanks to all the member’s that gave me the advice. I have reported the company to trading standards, and I would not recommend that anyone uses this company, you would be better off using a back street garage. REMEMBER THE NAME MB IDEPENDENT NOTTINGHAM BE WARNED

Actually I've counted at least three occurrences of the same narrative. Evidently 'gert' is clearly unhappy with this garage.

I agree, gert must be very unhappy, but after the point has been made it gets a bit boring.

Maybe he was just ensuring maximum coverage so that owners do not fall into the trap?
