I have a W210 E class. The clock/gearbox sector reads more like Arabic than English and a friend's CLK has a similar problem with the centre display computer console.

There is a ribbon cable inside that makes poor contact, its a matter of fitting rubber wedges to pack them out.

I have a similar problem. Does anyone know how to get to the back of them to pack them out?
