Has anybody had any experience with a company called Speedofixer? They offer a service in the SE to repair digital dashboards (from £150).

I have a W210 E class. The clock/gearbox sector reads more like Arabic than English and a friend's CLK has a similar problem with the centre display computer console.

There is a ribbon cable inside that makes poor contact,its a matter of fitting rubber wedges to pack them out.
