MB Maintenance on cd-rom

I have just been sent 2 cd's and 2 floppy disks from USA which contain all technical info and specs for all german cars between 1983 and 2000. these give all servicing procedures, detailed diagrams etc of everything you could possibly want to keep your pride and joy running perfectly. these are american trade programs and may differ slightly from uk spec cars but my friend has just used them to change the brake discs on his VW Passatt and said it was a massive help. examples of MB cars covered are 1983 240D, 300C/CD/D/SD/TD, 380SEC/SEL/SL, 1990 190E,300, 420SEL, 560 SEC/SEL, 2000 C230/280, CL500. CLK320/430, E300/320/430, ML320/430, S320/420/430/500, SL500, SLK230. Most MB vehicles are covered between the above dates of manufacture plus AUDI,BMW,PORSCHE and VW. if anyone would like a copy of this program (for a small charge) please pm me. the program cannot be split and therefore all 4 discs are reliant on each other.

why naughty. are these common programs? i got them for my A class but its not covered.i'll check the w124. i dont know much about MB'S so any more info would be a benefit.

i have just had a look on ebay and there are loads of people selling these same programs for £9.99. i have pm'd those interested people already and explained that i only want £5 english pounds to cover cost of 2 cd's, 2 floppys and postage. i will not include any cases to keep postage costs down but the items will be adequately protected in transit. all instructions included also. i am doing this as a favour to fellow MB owners. i got them for my A class but it isnt covered so i might as well help others who could benefit from it. uk postage only -sorry. i will accept cash or cheque bearing in mind if anyone tries to con me with dodgy cheques i will name and shame them and remove the sale from others.

Are W210 models included? I've seen the lists on eBay and not idntified the E220 CDI on there at all.

I have access to Vauxhall TIS and EPC via a friend at my local Vauxhall dealer but haven't seen anything for my Merc.

most people who asked for a copy have recieved them by now (albeit with some post problems). I would be grateful if they would post some comments (positive or negative) on the QUALITY OF THE PROGRAM and if it is valuable information.I will do more copies on demand if people require.

Service CDs

Hi JP,

Just got your disks this morning (Friday), WOW, Superb !!
OK it doesnt cover modern diesels, but there is still a huge amount of general information. As you say installation is quite involved but worked first time.
How are you getting on with your A class? Is this your first Merc.?
My C250D is my first, Ive had it about a year, a baptism of fire.

although the A class isnt covered, a lot of the systems such as central locking and aircon are the same throughout the MB range so they could be useful to me in the future. in the meantime, i will carry on suppliying this program to anyone who would like a copy. thanks for the feedback sixpack. more comments from others who have tried this would be grateful. its a deal, its a steal, its the sale of the ......century.
